The President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee Vessela Letcheva was among the spectators of the Bulgarian Football Cup Final, which gathered a record audience.
Ludogorets defeated CSKA 1:0 in front of nearly 40 000 spectators at the Vasil Levski National Stadium.
Among them were the President of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova, the President of the Bulgarian Football Union Georgi Ivanov, the President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee Vessela Letcheva.
“I expect a very attractive match, with a lot of emotions, with many beautiful moments. The stadium will be full. I am glad that both clubs are investing and developing football,” Letcheva said.
Vessela Letcheva told the media that she will implement in “full” the recommendations given by the International Olympic Committee to the Bulgarian Olympic Committee.
“What I can say is that I have acquainted the Executive Bureau, the Control Council, all the institutions with the letter from the IOC. It insists on unity, responsible actions from everyone to preserve the interest of Bulgarian sport and the Olympic movement in Bulgaria.”
“I hope that Ms Kostadinova will respect them,” she added, reminding that the IOC is the most influential and respected sports organisation that leads the Olympic movement worldwide, as well as in Bulgaria.
