Damyan Iliev won a silver medal for Bulgaria at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje.
In the 10-meter pistol solo event, Damyan Iliev qualified for the final, where he lost to Moldovan Kliment Ursu by one point.
With a score of 11:10, the gold went to Moldova, while the Bulgarian took the silver.
This is Bulgaria’s first medal from the Olympic Festival in Skopje.
The final was watched by Vessela Letcheva, President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee and the Bulgarian Shooting Union. Аfter the end of the competition, Lecheva awarded the winners in the discipline.
Yesterday, Damyan Iliev finished fourth in his other discipline, the 10-meter pistol.
