Vessela Letcheva was re-elected as the president of the Bulgarian Rifle Union (BSU) with a full majority of all clubs at the General Assembly in Sofia that ended today.
Elka Vaseva, who led the FSU after Letcheva was appointed acting minister of sports from August 2022 to June 2023, joined the Board of Directors and was elected vice-chairman of the organization.
“Thank you for your vote. I believe that together, with common efforts, we will move forward and our sport has a good future. I intend to get together with all the coaches soon for a week at Belmeken and take stock of the current situation and set development goals for the coming years. The renovation of the shooting range in “Geo Milev” is going according to plan and everything will be ready by the end of November. I also plan new visits to many cities in order to get to know the current situation and the opportunities for the sport. I have a lot of ideas, but they will be realized with the joint work from all of us”, commented Vessela Letcheva and earned the applause of those present in the hall.
