    President and sports executives open exhibition at embassy in Paris

    The President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev visited an exhibition at the Bulgarian Embassy in Paris by the Bulgarian sculptor and pop-art artist Vladimir Nikolov, organized by the Bulgarian Olympic Committee, on the eve of the opening of the Olympic Games in the French capital.

    Among the official guests of the event were the President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) Stefka Kostadinova, Vesela Lecheva, President of the Bulgarian Shooting Union and member of the IOC Commission, the Minister of Sport Georgi Glushkov and other sports leaders from the country.

    The exhibition was hosted by Radka Balabanova-Ruleva, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to France.

    Also invited were Bulgarian police officers who arrived in Paris to assist the local authorities in maintaining security and order in the city during the Games, as well as Bulgarian volunteers involved with the Olympics.
