Thomas Bach, Honorary President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), congratulated Vessela Letcheva after she officially took office as president of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC).

Bach, who led the IOC for 12 years and was elected to the honorary position for life last year, sent a congratulatory message to Letcheva. In it, he emphasized that he is pleased that the president’s consistent efforts to implement the decisions of the BOC General Assembly have been successful, and he wished her a successful term and productive work.
In his role as honorary president, Bach also participated in the most recent session of the IOC, which made important decisions regarding the future of the Olympic Movement.
