The President of the Bulgarian Shooting Union Vessela Letcheva and the IOC President Thomas Bach watched together the team competition of the Olympic Shooting Tournament in Châteauroux. Antoaneta Kostadinova and Kiril Kirov finished in 12th place.
It was Bach’s first visit to the Olympic shooting complex, which is located in central France, more than 200 kilometres from the capital Paris.
Last night, Vessela Letcheva was the guest of International Shooting Federation President Luciano Rossi, with whom they discussed future joint initiatives. The ambitions of the Bulgarian federation for development are great and our country wants to return to the international stage as a competition organiser, Letcheva said.
