Antoaneta Kostadinova won the gold medal at the shooting tournament Grand Prix Sofia in the discipline 10 meters pneumatic pistol – women.
The national competitor recorded 582 points from the qualification, making two series of the maximum 100 points. In the final itself the drama until the end for the first place was between Kostadinova and Adiel Ilieva. In the last shot, both made 9.6 points and only 0.3 tenths in the final standings took the gold Antoaneta Kostadinova . Silver went to Adiel Ilieva , and bronze to Eftekhia Mihalaki (Greece).
The medalists were congratulated and awarded by the Sports Minister Ivan Peshev, the President of the BSU Vessela Letcheva and the two-time Olympic champions Maria Grozdeva and Tanyu Kiriakov.
Earlier in the day, the junior pistol shooting events of the Grand Prix Sofi were completed. All-Bulgarian podium after the final race – Champion is Viktor Bonev, second Peter Ivanov and third Damyan Iliev.
