Secretary General Danail Dimov and Prof. Lozan Mitev, founder and president of the National Olympic Academy, are also participating in the meetings and discussions.
During the event, talented snowboarder Malena Zamfirova will be awarded, having been selected among the top 5 best athletes in winter sports in Europe following a nomination by the BOC Executive Bureau and a vote by all representatives of the National Olympic Committees of the Old Continent.
Malena gave a speech this morning to the delegates, impressing everyone present with her powerful words about the meaning of sport and Olympism. The Bulgarian said that she would not talk about herself and her successes, but about her sport – snowboarding. She called for its preservation in the Olympic program for the 2030 Winter Games and received thunderous applause.
