The Bulgarian Volleyball Federation organized a festive gala evening entitled “Together to the Top” – a special event at Crowne Plaza Sofia dedicated to the most significant achievements, personalities, and partners who are building the history and future of Bulgarian volleyball.
During the ceremony, prominent figures who have left a lasting mark on the development of the most successful team sport in Bulgaria were honored – from the legendary Olympic medalists from Moscow 1980 (men and women), to young talents – the world champions for women under 19, the fourth in the world – women under 21, the world vice-champions – men, as well as their coaches who contributed to Bulgaria’s international successes.
Long-standing partners of Bulgarian volleyball were also honored – organizations and companies whose support has been an integral part of the journey to the top.
“An exceptional evening. A year to remember. It is the most successful year for Bulgarian volleyball. Boys and girls who made us cry with joy at the world championships. They showed that they can be among the strongest in the world. We must thank the entire leadership of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation, which has built a successful model, a model that should be shared with other federations. The benefits for society as a whole are many. We are delighted that Bulgaria is hosting Euro 2026 and that 20,000 tickets were sold in the first month. I wish for an even more successful 2026,” said BOC President Vessela Letcheva.
