The presentation of Bulgaria to host the European Shooting Championship in 2026 in Burgas was successful. The candidates’ hearing took place on 1 March in Gyor, Hungary, where the European Shooting Championships are being held.
The presentation lasted more than an hour, and the president of the BSU, Vessela Letcheva, presented the advantages of the Bulgarian candidacy to the members of the European confederation. The other host candidate is Yerevan, Armenia.
A final decision will be made in a few weeks.
