The new IOC President Kirsty Coventry sent a letter to the Presidents of the National Olympic Committees. The letter was received by BOC President Vessela Letcheva.

A congratulatory address from the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) was received by Secretary General Danail Dimov. He was elected by the Executive Bureau and is now listed in the international registers. The letter from the ANOC is signed by the President of the Association, Robin Mitchell, and the Secretary General, Gunilla Lindberg.
